| 0 Comments Sep 27, 2016 | Posted by Riley W BoothbyCochrane Golf Ranking Final weekWe are down to the final 36 of our 2016 Season of the Cochrane Golf Ranking, meaning we are one week from crowning our first ever Cochrane Mens League Champion. The season started with 307 League members playing a total of 16 weeks earning points with up to date standings. Round One of playoffs started September 1st with all players eligible. Following week one a cut was made to the top 144 players then battling in week 2 to strive for the top 72. Last week those 72 players grinded it out with some tough weather to post scoring attempting to crack the top 36 which is the final Cut.
This is the final week of the playoffs. The top 36 are now set with it a close race within the top ten players. Similarly to the FedEx cup that just concluded any player that is in the top 5 ranked are eligible for an automatic win if one of the 5 wins the final night, however if it is a player outside that rank it then is total point that determines the CGR Champion.

We will be having a rematch of last years battle. The final evening will consist of the A & B Finals as well a 5 PM horse race for all other eliminated players. All players quickly elimianted from the horse race are encouraged to go play a few holes on the back until dinner time.
The regular 42 fees will apply however golf, cart, prizes and dinner will be included.
Dinner will be at 7:15. All league members who do not attend for golf and choose to come for dinner the fee will be $20
